In the near future, the country will undergo an audit of this important regional project, based on the results of which the staff of the six regions will be evaluated. This was announced by Alexander Lukashenko on 9 August at a meeting in the Mogilev region, BELTA reports.
“I have already mentioned one sensitive point for which the heads of the district executive committee chairmen are cut off: ‘one district, one project,'” the Belarusian leader warned about his instructions.
By the way, another of their demands addressed to local executive authorities concerns the restoration of regional agricultural services.
“Everything must be restored. There is no need to discuss. The agricultural chemicals that were in service, if you need them, please return them: some warehouse, a railway, they arrived, unloaded potassium, something else,” Lukashenko explained the reason for his order.
He warned that the chairman of the State Control Committee would strictly monitor the situation. “God forbid we find fertilizers lying around in the open air somewhere, even for just one day, no one will tolerate such mismanagement,” the chairman said harshly. He also demanded that attention be paid to the construction of mobile mechanized columns. “Some kind of repair work, to cover someone’s roof, or maybe build a house. Little by little we need to load them with work.”
Lukashenko’s list of operational tasks also included the restoration of a feed mill in Shklov. “It must be fully loaded and not belong to a single farm,” the Belarusian leader instructed, ordering that the plant’s work be personally supervised by the head of the district executive committee, Sergei Bartosh.
