The station is already ready, it remains to remember the small details. In particular, the finishing of the platform is almost complete: its walls and columns are lined with light gray Siberian granite. Pathways were laid, elevators and three escalators were installed.
The design of the station in “Aviastyle” is dedicated to the civil aircraft of the Tupolev Design Bureau, after which the airport is named. Portraits of aircraft designers Andrei and Alexei Tupolev will appear on the walls. Through the underground passage, Vnukovo will be connected to the airport and Aeroexpress terminals, and from here it will be possible to go to the station square and 1st Reisovaya street.

The bridge will be the twelfth in the capital and the second longest after the Luzhnetsky metro bridge. According to Voystratenko, the extension of the branch to the airport will help solve the transportation problems of 350,000 people who live and work in the Vnukovo region and the settlements of Vnukovskoye, Marushkinskoye, Filimonkovskoye. 25,000 people live within walking distance of the new stations. According to preliminary calculations, the travel time for them will be reduced by 20-40 minutes, and for airport passengers – by about one and a half times.
