When can the Income Statement be made this year?

Date: June 7, 2023 Time: 05:03:56

The Income statement is almost always a headache for taxpayers. Especially for the year corresponding to 2022, since the Treasury incorporates tax news to take into account with respect to Personal Income Tax (IRPF). Of course, what does not change is that those people who obtain income from the work of a single payer that exceeds 22,000 euros per year will have the obligation to carry out this procedure. However, it is now when the substantial change comes.

When are you obliged to make the Income statement?

Those who receive work income from more than one payer will not have to make the Income Statement if the sum of said returns does not exceed 15,000 euros, unlike the previous 14,000 euros. This limit is applied as long as the sum of the income between the second and the rest of the payers does not exceed 1,500 euros per year.

Another point to take into account is that, among the modifications that the Government of Spain presented, is the increase in the tax of up to 27% for capital income between 200,000 and 300,000 euros.

Dates of the 2022 Income campaign

April 11, next Tuesday, will be the official start day of the 2022 Income Statement campaign. Specifically, you must access the WEB Income service offered by the Tax Agency. This option will be available until the last day of the campaign, June 30.

But those who want to present their declaration with the help of the Tax Agency must wait until May 5, the date on which the telephone service will start. Of course, by appointment that can be requested from May 3. For its part, face-to-face service at the Treasury offices will begin on June 1. You will also have to make an appointment, available from May 25.
