The objective of this new aid of 200 euros, created by Royal Decree-Law 20/2022, of December 27, is designed to alleviate the economic effects of the Russian invasion in Ukraine, and to deal with the high rate of inflation that It has skyrocketed in the last eight months, which has been especially reflected in the price of basic food or the electricity bill. In January this year, the CPI stood at 5.8%. It is not surprising, therefore, that many potential beneficiaries are wondering today when the check for 200 euros will be cashed.
Well, the truth is that there is already an answer to this question from the AEAT. Likewise, it should be remembered that the anti-crisis measure will be available until March 31. Employees or self-employed workers, as well as beneficiaries of the unemployment benefit or subsidy, who last year did not exceed the threshold of 27,000 euros gross per year will be able to access. Neither can you add assets greater than 75,000 euros, although in this case the habitual residence or family residence is not exceeded.
When does the aid of 200 euros begin to be received?
The Treasury has established a period of three months to collect it, which begins on March 31, that is, which coincides with the last day to submit the online form. This means that the subscription could begin to be made between the months of April, May and June.
