The deputy affirmed that the parliamentarians of both countries consider the budget of the union as one of the sources for the formation of a unique scientific and technological space in the interest of the development of national economies. For this reason, last year they paid special attention to improving the regulatory and legal framework of the State of the Union in the budgetary and financial field.
In this regard, he clarified that the single financial portfolio for the current year in terms of income is determined by the amount of 5966.0 million Russian rubles, and in terms of expenses – 5066.5 million, of which it is expected that 3,959.5 million are used to finance four programs and 33 events.
Commenting on the content of the planned projects, the deputy explained that their goal is “greater interaction in the field of culture, science, as well as in the patriotic education of the youth of the participating states and the preservation of memory history of the Great Patriotic War.”
The deepening of the integration processes between Belarus and Russia, the politician stated, was a response to the hybrid war by the West and its attempts to divide the two peoples. That is why the close interaction of the two countries makes it possible to guarantee social stability and the well-being of citizens, protecting their interests.
The integration within the State of the Union in the next year, according to her, will aim to create common markets in industry, construction, agriculture and transport, eliminate barriers to mutual trade and gather social guarantees, from medicine and education to pensions and benefits.
In addition, Nizhevich pointed out that of the 28 union programs, approximately half contemplate the harmonization of legislation in financial and auditing activities. This includes the creation of a common financial market, the regulation of certain issues in the banking sector, the harmonization of requirements in the fight against money laundering, the unification of civil legislation and the definition of the bases for the creation of assets. of the State of the Union. the agency reports.
