“Today the Biden and Kamala Harris administration will announce a new military aid package for Ukraine,” Jean-Pierre was quoted as saying by TASS.
According to her, it will also include shells and missiles for the HIMARS MLRS.
In early April, the Pentagon confirmed the provision of another military assistance package to kyiv. It included weapons worth $2.6 billion. Among them are the same artillery shells and guided missiles, new radars and ammunition for the Western Patriot and NASAMS air defense systems.
The supply of Canadian arms followed. The Ukrainian army received from this NATO country 21,000 assault rifles, 38 machine guns and more than 2.4 million cartridges.
