Let’s rest for just one day and then get back to work.

The eighth of March is the most unlucky holiday of this year! Sorry, ladies, but it’s a fact: World Women’s Day this time falls on a Wednesday. Therefore, you cannot “stick” to Saturday-Sunday to make a long weekend. As a result, this working week on March 8 will be divided into exactly two parts: from Monday to Tuesday we work, on Wednesday we rest, and then again two working days.
But in a couple of months two servings of a long weekend await us. we will rest:
– Three days from April 29 to May 1 (Spring and Labor Day falls on a Monday).
– Four days from May 6 to 9. Why four? The fact is that Victory Day falls on Tuesday. And Monday, May 8, will be a day off as “compensation” for the New Year holidays. January 8 is considered a non-working holiday in Russia. It fell on a Sunday this year. In such cases, the government moves the day off to another day. That day was May 8.
And interestingly, this is not the last long weekend of the year. For three days we will rest from June 10 to 12 and from November 4 to 6.
At the same time, we remind you: if you have to work on holidays and weekends, the payment should be double. Or the boss is obliged to give you an extra day off.
