Yuri Shatunov died nine months ago on the threshold of the hospital. On June 23, 2022, the 48-year-old musician fell ill while relaxing with friends at a country house in the Moscow region. The soloist of the group “Tender May” was buried at the Troekurovsky cemetery in Moscow. The orphanage takes over the artist’s grave for free.
The wife and children left the grave of Yura Shatunov. The family lives in Germany, where, at the singer’s behest, his ashes were scattered after cremation. And the second part was buried in Moscow.
Now a discreet gray-haired 58-year-old man takes care of Yura’s grave on a voluntary basis. Evgeny Vasilyevich spends every free minute at the Troekurovsky cemetery.
“It happens that on weekdays, even from other regions, they come to honor the memory of Yura. They call, write, ask to see the grave. I will not lie if I say that fans come almost every day,” says the man Orenburg.kp.ru .

One thing only bothers Evgeny Vasilyevich – he never saw the singer’s wife Svetlana and the children at the cemetery. The family lives in Germany. About Shatunov, his admirer speaks uneasily. And he draws parallels in the fate of each: “We are in many ways similar to him. I, like him, grew up in an orphanage, one might say, brothers.”
