Jan and Danuta met when the singer was not yet a star, the couple married but divorced a few years later. In 1979 (other sources indicate 1973), they had a daughter, Joanna. The couple parted coldly.
In 2013, a major scandal erupted when it became clear that Borisevich’s mother and daughter were running an international prostitution ring and that the reach of their “company” covered Dubai, London, Barcelona and Saint-Tropez.
The court found Jana Borisevich guilty and sentenced her to two years in prison and a fine of 30,000 zlotys.
As a result of the scandal, a book was written, which in 2021 became the basis for the film “Girls from Dubai” (Dziewczyny z Dubaju / 18+). In Russia, the film was released under the title “Escorts”. In Poland, the film became a box office hit.
Katarzyna Figura played Danuta Borisevich in the project, and Olga Kalicka played Joanna.
The death was reported by Goniec. No reason or details have been given. She was buried near Wroclaw; she lived in a small village with her daughter in a close circle. Her ex-husband was not present at the ceremony.
Lady Pank was founded by Borisewicz in 1981 in Wroclaw. The band has several gold and platinum records to its name.
