Sony Pictures has officially released the fourth installment of the Bad Boys action series, starring Will Smith and Martin Lawrence. The information was confirmed by the actors on their social networks.
The film is currently in pre-production. Bilal Falla and Adil El Arbi, who have already shot Bad Boys for Life, will direct the film. After Will Smith’s outrageous Oscar antics, some fans were concerned that he might not return to the franchise.
Before theaters closed due to the pandemic in 2020, Bad Boys for Life had grossed more than $426 million at the worldwide box office. In total, the franchise brought its creators $840.7 million.
Netflix has canceled the sequel to the action movie “Brightness” with Will Smith. The decision is not related to the incident at the Oscars. We talk about it in more detail here.
