The star of “Hancock” and “Men in Black” Will Smith was lucky: after the scandalous slap in the face of comedian Chris Rock at the Oscars, the actor was not canceled, as is now customary. The artist made a mandatory set of manipulations to restore his reputation (apologies, work with a psychologist, etc.), and he was forgiven. Not so long ago, the new work of Smith was released on the big screens and on the Apple + platform – the main role in the historical drama “Liberation”.
The picture is dedicated to the sad fate of blacks in a free America, but not for everyone. And the plot is based on the biography of a runaway slave named Gordon (XIX century), who became famous during the Civil War.
Because the movie is about the slave system, Smith, who played the slave Smith, had to lose a lot of weight (after the very same photo where he appears lazy, bloated and with a beer belly) – the actor lost about 13 kilos -.

And Will was naturally chained. He put an iron collar on his neck, which was associated with some discomfort for the artist. Especially when the key to the shackles disappeared for a while…

In an interview, the artist admitted that the producers had been looking for these clues for quite some time and that he had already begun to forget about anger management lessons after the incident with Chris Rock.
“So they put a collar on me,” Will recalled. – Then I get up, and they approach me to take it off, but nothing happens. It doesn’t open, my heart jumps and I’m like, “Oh no no no.”
Chained in a necklace that wasn’t according to the script, Smith stood for about 15 minutes, and didn’t freak out. Which can definitely be considered a victory over irritability.
