Gathering with family and friends to celebrate the New Year is a favorite tradition for 15 percent of Russians. 12 percent of respondents mentioned decorating the house and the Christmas tree as a traditional activity leading up to the New Year. 6 percent love the tradition of exchanging gifts and a festive party.
