World Class will hold a charity Vertical Run

Date: July 18, 2024 Time: 15:00:38

In honor of its 30th anniversary, the World Class gym chain, with the support of Winline, is organizing the most unusual sporting event this summer: a charity Vertical Run. For the first time, the Sparrow Hills ski resort, opening after a large-scale renovation at the end of 2022, will not accept skiers, but rather runners who will storm its slopes.

On August 27, everyone will be able to test themselves by participating in a unique mass race on the ski slope and on the trampoline. The racetracks will be a 250 meter long track with a 40 meter drop and a 100 meter long springboard with a 25 meter drop. Competitors will have to sprint one or both distances uphill and show the best results.

Contest winners will be ranked in 25 categories and will receive memorable medals and gifts. Sports, film and entertainment stars will participate in the award ceremony. While the participants of the race are put to the test, the spectators will not be left out of the sports program and will be able to test themselves in disc golf, in a tug of war competition and in the ancient Provencal game of petanque.

The sports festival will end with a grand musical concert, the headliners of which will be the legendary band of the 90s “Masha and the Bears” and DJ Alexander Nuzhdin. Proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to the Life in Motion Charitable Foundation to help children with disabilities.

Previously, the World Class Spa opened in the new Cherry Orchard club. It became the 17th consecutive lounge operating in the network’s clubs. We talk about it in more detail here.
