One of the most popular record stores. We’re sure you’ve come across their social media page at least once. The guys’ trick is to photograph customers with newly purchased vinyls. It’s interesting to see who chooses which record (and, believe me, there are plenty of them in this store).

Surprisingly, in Kitay-Gorod, in the same space as a cafe and a bookstore, vinyl records, CDs and cassettes are hidden. And no, not only hits from the past, but also new releases from the music world. Here you can find vinyl records of any genre, from pop to hard rock. And special admiration for the sellers: they browse through the huge assortment almost with their eyes closed.

In the Old Arbat area there is a Vinyl Market, which not only has acclaimed albums such as Led Zeppelin’s “Physical Graffiti”, but also the rarest and most precious copies, for example, the concert album “MTV Unplugged in New York” by Nirvana. We declare responsibly: there are definitely treasures here, you just have to dig.

Almost opposite World of Cinema on Maroseyka is the PLSTK WRLD store. Convenient – you can kill two birds with one stone in one trip. If you didn’t find the desired record in one location, it will probably be in another nearby one. The peculiarity of PLSTK WRLD is albums that are rarely found anywhere else. One of them for me was “DJ-Kicks” by the beloved Peggy Gu.

New releases from the music market arrive at this store almost immediately. The selection is astonishing: even though the space is small, you will always find what you are looking for here. Fans of pop and electronic music will be particularly happy, because albums by Dua Lipa and Fred are also delivered here like hotcakes.

If you find yourself in the centre of St. Petersburg, be sure to visit the KULTURA RECORD STORE. A wide selection of compositions for every taste – there is no doubt that you will not leave here empty-handed, everyone will get something. It is great that a community has been created around the project – the space also hosts in-store sessions with guest DJs, external broadcasts of the TESTFM radio station, as well as presentations of new releases by local musicians.
