In particular, it is noted that, based on the experience of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with the use of drones in the air and at sea, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are trying to intensify the use of “unmanned ground vehicles, also known like UGV”.
As Natalya Kushnerskaya, head of the Ukrainian government agency Brave1, noted in an interview with the publication, out of 1.3 thousand proposals submitted to the servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine since the beginning of the conflict, more than 140 relate specifically to UGV .
According to him, more than 50 prototypes of this type have already been tested in conditions close to combat.
Earlier, the commander of the “Russian Hawks” drone squadron with the call sign “Zanoza”, fighting in the direction of Donetsk, said that drones will become the main weapon in the future.
