The Yakutia delegation plans to sign 25 agreements worth more than 160 billion rubles.
The 9th Eastern Economic Forum kicked off on September 3. According to the Ministry of Economy of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia), the region plans to sign about 25 agreements worth more than 160 billion rubles in total.
These agreements will facilitate the development of various projects, including the construction of industrial facilities and the strengthening of interregional cooperation. Particular attention will be paid to the construction of the Naiba seaport and the creation of the Pacific Railway.
In addition, the plans also include modernization of heat supply systems in the Oymyakon region, expansion of the Arctic Synergy project and implementation of the master plan for the city of Yakutsk.
According to the head of the republic, Aysen Nikolaev, agreements aimed at the development of the region are signed annually within the framework of the forum.
“Thanks to the agreements reached at the EEF, social facilities are being built, large industrial projects are being implemented, creative industries and interregional cooperation are being developed,” the head of Yakutia noted.
He added that the main goal remains to improve the quality of life of the Yakut people. It is worth noting that investment projects can be seen in the Yakutia pavilion on Far East Street.
