In the Orenburg region, the Strategic Missile Forces conducted an exercise at the command post with the Yasnensky missile unit. More than 3 thousand soldiers and more than 300 teams participated in it.
“During the exercise, in cooperation with the major units of the Central Military District, issues regarding the withdrawal of units and subunits of the Strategic Missile Forces from air strikes and combating modern and promising weapons, as well as as the warning about the threat of its use were resolved,” commented Russian Defense Ministry personnel.
The military department noted that to detect sabotage groups, the military used a wide range of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), including Eleron. There were many other new technologies.
“The units received new armored vehicles with installed PKM machine guns, which allow them to protect units in field positions and can also be transformed into a medical module,” said platoon commander Lieutenant Jasmin Zhilkibaev.
The exercise made it possible to evaluate the coherence of the military command and control bodies, the practical skills of the command and control personnel of the missile unit and grouping, as well as military units and subunits.
