Yoigo, the operator of the MásMóvil group, takes a step forward in its strategy this Thursday and has announced the launch of its own bank account with a remuneration of 5% APR for the first 5,000 euros, equivalent to 245 euros per year, and a 1% for the rest of the deposit without capital limit.
MoneyGo, in which it counts as a partner with BNP Paribas Personal Finance Spain through Banco Cetelem, which will operate the service, according to a statement.
The registration will be completely online and for the remuneration the deposit of the payroll will not be necessary, but it will be worth a Yoigo receipt for the home client. If you do not direct the receipt, you will be able to access the service but with a remuneration of 0.5% APR.
The service has a commission-free checking account, a free debit card and a remunerated savings account, which can be used digitally through MoneyGo. The company has financed devices, loans and credit cards with this service to more than one million customers since 2021.
“With this new MoneyGO service, our customers can safely save the money they need to have available for an emergency, and also obtain a good return, with the only requirement of direct debiting their Yoigo bill. In practice, many customers may find it the telephone receipt is free thanks to MoneyGO”, has pointed out the general director of New Businesses in Grupo MásMóvil, Alberto Galaso.
