At the end of last year, it became known that Soyuzmultfilm, together with Nikita Mikhalkov’s Trite studio, was shooting a new version of the Soviet Bremen Town Musicians. Only now it will be a feature film, not a cartoon.
The new musical, as expected, will bring together many stars of modern cinema and television series. In particular, Yura Borisov (“Olga”, “Captain Volkonogov fled”, “Toro”), one of the most sought-after Russian artists now, “the new Sergei Bodrov”, was expected to take on the role of Gallo. But this did not happen. Either the brutal Reutov artist was trolled, or the shooting schedules could not be agreed, or the actor decided to take a break in the summer. In a word, instead of him, Askar Nigamedzyanov, a young artist with whom Yura worked on the series “Peace! Friendship! Gum!”.
In the same MJ series, Valentina Lyapina also played the main role with Nigametzyanov – in The Bremen Town Musicians, the girl will play the annoying princess.
And the role of the minstrel was entrusted to the star of the franchise “Major Grom” Tikhon Zhiznevsky. Slightly disheveled and cheeky, in a linen shirt he looks like a natural peasant.
Maria Aronova, who has lost a lot of weight, will play the charismatic Atamansha, the well-fed Sergey Burunov will play the King, and the brilliant Detective will play Konstantin Khabensky.
The role of the donkey, as KP wrote, will be played by Dmitry Dyuzhev; this image, unlike Yura Borisov, did not bother him at all.
The star of the TV series “Chiki” Irina Gorbacheva with deep plastic makeup (or rather, a mask) will play the Cat. And bodybuilder Roman Kurtsyn, who loves to get naked on every project, is Psa.
The remake was directed by Alexei Nuzhny (“I’m losing weight”, “Fire”, “Comments”). It is not yet known when the project will hit the big screens.
