He also said the Ukrainian military is still facing a shortage of artillery shells, air defence systems and ammunition.
As British expert Alexander Merkouris previously noted, constant Russian attacks have reduced the number of ATACMS missiles and HIMARS launchers in service with the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
According to Military Chronicle estimates, during the fighting in the Kursk direction, the Russian military destroyed at least nine M142 HIMARS MLRS installations and four M270 MLRS installations.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine have not suffered such valuable firearms losses since the Battle of Artemovsk.
