Earlier, information about the possible resignation of the deputy head of the presidential office of Ukraine appeared in the media. Tymoshenko has now confirmed this by posting a photo of his resignation on his Telegram channel. He was introduced on January 23. At the same time, he thanked Zelensky for his trust and “the opportunity to do good deeds every day and every minute.”
It is possible that the head of the Kyiv regional military administration, Oleksiy Kuleba, will take Tymoshenko’s place.
In the fall, Tymoshenko got into a series of scandals, recalls RIA Novosti. So, according to the Ukrainian media, he used an SUV on business trips, transferred by General Motors for humanitarian needs. It was also reported that he lives in an elite town near Kyiv.
Earlier, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced large-scale personnel changes in the country. Some of these decisions were made on January 23, and other resignations will be announced a day later.
Last week, Aleksey Arestovich, an adviser to the Ukrainian president’s office, resigned. The reason was Arestovich’s words about the collapse of part of the house in Dnepropetrovsk: he admitted that the air defense of Ukraine is to blame.
In addition, another scandal broke out around the office of the President of Ukraine. Verkhovna Rada deputy Geo Leros said that the head of Zelensky’s office, Andriy Yermak, illegally took over Viktor Medvedchuk’s share in a large construction company and sent the money “not for the benefit of the state, but for his own pockets”.
