The sanctions included: two-time Olympic champion pole vaulter, member of the executive committee of the Russian Olympic Committee Elena Isinbayeva, president of the Russian Tennis Federation Shamil Tarpishchev, swimmer Alexander Popov and honorary president of the Russian Olympic Committee Vitaly Smirnov.
Sanctions have also been imposed against several Russian organizations, including the Russian Red Cross.
Recall that in January Zelensky imposed sanctions against the footballer Anatoly Tymoshchuk. Tymoshchuk is a Ukrainian football legend. The footballer played 144 matches for the country – this is a national record.
