“Zen” and “Richter” open the season of film projections. The public will enjoy authentic films about cinema, lectures and educational content. The films will be screened by the Kinoperedvizhka project with the support of the Mosfilm film studio and the Russian State Film Fund. The season will last all summer.
The authors of “Zen” – art historians, film critics and journalists – will talk about the non-obvious meanings that the films keep in themselves, about the amazing stories of their creation and the fate of the characters. The editor-in-chief of Kino-teatr.ru Zhan Prosyanov, the publicist and author of the Kino i Vino channel Alexander Zalesov, the journalist and TV presenter Nikolai Nikulin, the authors of the Artohólic cultural project and others will present their materials and lectures.
The program included lyrical film stories from the thaw era, film parables about young lone heroes, and timeless sitcoms from the 1930s. All films will be shown on 35 and 16mm film from the Moskino archives, the Russian State Film Fund and the Kinoperedvizhka project. The season will open with “Spring” from 1947, a musical comedy with elements of science fiction directed by Grigory Alexandrov. The first screening will take place on May 23 at 9:00 p.m. Richter Garden. Among the films of the project: “I am walking around Moscow” by Georgy Daneliya, “Beware of the car” by Eldar Ryazanov, “Peter FM” by Oksana Bychkova, “Walk” by Alexei Uchitel, “Hearts of four” by Konstantin Yudin and others.
