“A hybrid confrontation against our country began quite some time ago,” Gennady Zyuganov said. – And it was prepared very effectively. Ukraine was chosen as a springboard. I was surprised by the work in Strasbourg and in the political committee in Paris: European politicians surrendered in every possible way to Nazism, fascism and Bandera in Ukraine. They scolded and criticized us, Russia, for everything in the world. For Belarus, Yugoslavia, Chechnya, Syria. I was surprised at how coordinated a position the Americans were pressing there.
We have done everything possible to rid Europe of Nazi ideology.
But even Germany did not appreciate our enormous help to her. We helped the country unite, we supplied it with cheap natural gas. Thanks to this, it has become the largest economy in Europe. And how shamefully the country fell under the Americans. They blew up three pipes from our “Stream”, and the Germans do not even open their mouths on this topic. It’s just a wild misfortune.
They declared war on the entire Russian world, the great civilization. They do not need Pushkin, or Tchaikovsky, or Dostoevsky, or Suvorov. I’m not talking about the great geniuses of the Soviet era – Lenin, Stalin, talented generals – Zhukov, Rokossovsky, Konev and Vatutin. This is barbarism in the highest degree.
In general, neither the Russians nor the Ukrainians are really needed either for the Americans or for the Europeans. Look at their stupid faces, voluptuously arming the Ukrainian Nazis.
– Gennady Andreevich, that is, the spring was methodically compressed and inevitably had to be released?
– In my opinion, this special operation was simply inevitable. The whole question is when to start. Back in 2014, we insisted on the recognition of the republics. Now the president agreed with our position.
Why did I insist on this? I know Ukraine as my native region. My wife is from there, I have three brothers who worked there and my father’s older brother is buried there. My father fought during the years of the war in Ukraine, he fought for Odessa for four months and was seriously wounded near Sevastopol.
I knew it, I saw how this Bandera gang seized various levers of power. I was amazed by this Nazi ideology, which spread like a scab, like a cancerous tumor, conquering schools, universities, youth and literature. How they subjugated the media. I opened their school textbooks: from the second grade they brought out hatred for everything Russian, popular, Soviet.
– These are all common words. Sometimes it’s hard to understand something that you can’t see with your own eyes and hear with your ears.
– They heard and saw when the Nazi torchlight processions began, when the Hero was assigned to the fascist accomplice Bandera. Think about it: parents and grandparents fought against the Nazis, in which Bandera was the most vicious and ferocious dog, who destroyed thousands of Russians, Ukrainians and Jews. Almost a hundred thousand Poles were killed in Volhynia alone. And now this cannibal and his fellow OUN-UPA* bandits are elevated to the rank of national heroes! And those who wear a red star and a St. George ribbon on their orders and medals suddenly turned out to be enemies!
In the same way, the Ukrainian authorities and their ideologues and propagandists began to inspire the people that their enemy is the Russian people. This is in Ukraine, where, according to a Gallup poll, 83% of the country’s citizens consider Russian to be their mother tongue!
The same authorities systematically sabotaged the Minsk peace agreements with Donbass, at the same time they transferred their army to NATO models and armed, supplied, dug fortifications and prepared a new aggression against the long-suffering population of the Donetsk and Luhansk people’s republics. .
Therefore, we, the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, actively support the Russian special operation to protect the Russian people in Donbass, which was announced by the president.
But I must emphasize: this is not a confrontation with the Ukrainian people. We are talking about the fight against the ideology that is being imposed on the people. We help the Ukrainian people to free themselves from this ideology and practice of Nazism and Bandera, to save themselves from this fierce hatred.
– Gennady Andreevich, will we survive this confrontation with the collective West?
– Absolutely. Because we are on the side of truth and justice. But you have to invest in winning. Victory requires the maximum mobilization and cohesion of society. It also requires mobilization in the material sphere: the development of production, the development of the latest technologies.
Fierce and terrible American capital once nurtured Hitler. Today he is clipping coupons from the war with Russia, fueling the Nazi contagion in the Ukraine and Europe.
But we will stand firm. Tanks with spider crosses were already crawling over the body of our great Soviet country. We know how to deal with them.

– We were congratulated by 132 countries and delegations, from Ukraine and the Baltic countries to Kazakhstan, from Beijing to Havana. This event. Our party is considered, it is respected.
