If there’s one thing geek culture fans can’t deny, it’s that Batman, the iconic DC Comics character, is one of the darkest characters in the West. Now, if we move this to the East, especially the manga industry, when we’re looking for the darkest character, we can’t help but mention Guts, the most beloved seinen protagonist of all: Berserker. That’s why the following fan art blew us away, as it’s fan art from both franchises, offering us a Dark Knight look worthy of any Dark Fantasy story.

Seeing the work that Twitter user @yyu31 has done with Midjourney, we can’t help but praise the great interpretation given to us in this crossover between Berserk and Batman, and how it is in some cases (including the Metal Dark Knights saga). Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo), we were able to see the DC Comics hero in the same cool armor as shown above.
Or to clarify: armor, because the truth is, we only have 3 versions of it. In this sense, we can note that the image in the first image is perhaps our favorite: with those details that in many ways remind us of Guts’ Berserker Armor. However, we cannot deny that the second image is also quite powerful, and of course, the bat pattern on the chest is perhaps the most stylized, and at the same time, the most faithful, that we have ever seen in comics.

Finally, in this third image, we have a new costume model: with a more basic helmet, but also with a few added metal layers on the armor’s chestplate. One thing is clear to us: with this character, Guts could easily face the Hand of God.
What do you think of this crossover between Berserker and DC Comics’ most beloved character?
