Artist One Punchman brings the pillars of Kimetsu no Yaiba to life in this epic fan art

Date: March 24, 2023 Time: 21:12:04

If there’s an artist that anime and manga fans should follow, it’s Yusuke Murata, a cartoonist who, in addition to contributing to sports manga like the fantasy Eyeshield 21, is also responsible for adapting the scripts and artwork for ONE webtoon, Stupidly Good One Punch Man. And the thing is, this artist is capable of a dynamism and a drawing detail that is rare in today’s industry, reasons why the same fans are often horrified when they think of the work they’ve done and will have animators looking to match his drawing in the animated versions.

Well, today we bring you a fan art made by Murata himself, dedicated to one of the best shonen of the last decade: Kimetsu no Yaiba. Without further delay, we will show you this image below:

In the picture we have a portrait of the Pillars, as well as several of Tanjiro’s companions. The first thing that catches the eye is that the style of the cartoonist is clearly different from that of Koyoharu Gotoge, although the characterization of the characters remains faithful. In this sense, it is interesting to dwell on every detail, noting each element of the characters with its own personality. That is: patterns in outfits, poses, gestures: each character stands out on its own, which is difficult, given that the whole could rather drown out its presence.

As you can see, this is a tribute made with great care, and we are sure that both Kimetsu no Yaiba and One Punch-Man fans will like it.

And you, what do you think of the drawing, done masterfully by Yusuke Murata?
