Neon Genesis Evangelion has inspired a new and incredible cosplay of Asuka Langley Soryu who dressed up an anime waifu bride with breathtaking results you can’t miss. And that’s not all, because this version brought to our world an original cosplay that inspired royal weddings.
Cosplayer Naomicoser_0210 shared on Instagram images of her interpretation of the German pilot on her wedding day, which, although no one can be sure, could have come true after the end of Evangelion 3.0+1.0: Thrice A Tale. In the end, the ending of the Rebuild of Evangelion tetralogy also confirmed some fan theories that Shinji would end up with Mari Illustrious.
What do you think of this Asuka cosplay in Evangelion?
Of course, this is not the only alternate version of Asuka that has come to life, as other incredible cosplays have also shown us other interpretations of the redheaded waifu that appeared in Neon Genesis Evangelion. So we have a version of the schoolgirl that was also brought to our world by a cosplayer that you can’t miss.
Meanwhile, the publication of a new collector’s edition of the Evangelion manga, written and illustrated by Yoshiyuki Sadamoto, character designer for the legendary anime director Hideaki Anno, is approaching. The manga will be published on our property with some extras for this deluxe edition, so be sure to keep an eye out for the official launch of the series, which will take place “in the second quarter of 2023” according to Panini.
