Atelier Ryza is taking a step towards anime with a new adaptation that will premiere this summer to commemorate the franchise’s twenty-fifth anniversary. The classic JRPG series is celebrating a win and to attract a new audience, it will jump to the small screen with a new adventure.
This was revealed during a stream celebrating a quarter century of the Atelier franchise developed by Koei Tecmo. The anime will be presented on television by animation studio Liden Film and some production details have already been revealed. Ema Yuzuriha is directing and Yashichiro Takahashi will write the script after participating in the video game. Kazuki Yanagawa will also return from the video game, in charge of creating the soundtrack. Finally, Tomoyuki Shitaka will be the character designer. You can watch the first trailer below:
The Atelier Ryza anime will arrive this summer, although it hasn’t been confirmed for release outside of Japan at this time. It also remains to wait for the final release date to enjoy this new adaptation.
