The celebration of the upcoming 40th anniversary of Dragon Ball continues with the “Dragon Ball Gallery” and its collection of illustrations by various contributors to Shonen Jump magazine, now it’s Posuka Demisu’s (Promised Neverland) turn to add a commemorative piece to this gallery.
Posuka’s teacher Demisu borrowed the cover of the 22nd volume of the original Dragon Ball manga to give it a style full of color and three-dimensionality. This illustrator couldn’t resist the idea of filling in the gaps in the original volume to create his own version of Planet Namkin, along with Goku, Gohan, Krillin and a couple of little Namekians.
With the above, we reach the twentieth illustration featured in this gallery, which plans to show a total of 40 illustrations for its fortieth anniversary. Here below you can find more creations made by various manga artists and illustrators who have published their work in Weekly Shonen Jump.
