The beloved Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are undoubtedly an icon of computer and pop culture, and over the years we have followed their varied adventures in various formats such as live-action films, cartoons, CGI animated series, but now for the first time fan- art. 90s anime and it’s totally cool.
Another great movie hitting theaters this summer is Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, which will show us our favorite reptiles like we’ve never seen them before, immersed in an unrivaled animation style that really left Paramount great, and it follows that line a bit, or the new art direction we’ve seen in other animated films like Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. And, as we mentioned earlier, we saw turtles in different formats, some cooler than others; Still, it’s great to think of these characters in anime, and without a doubt, it’s something that many of us would like to see as children, along with other great series of the time, such as Dragon Ball or Sailor Moon.
Now the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles anime is getting more tangible to the eye with this incredible fan art brought to us by Instagram artist @salvamakoto in which as you can see we have Michelangelo, Donatello, Raphael and Leonardo immersed in the 90 anime -s years. Undoubtedly, each of the turtles looks great, although April O’Neil’s design is most in line with this retro style, which this cartoonist is an expert at recreating.
We can’t deny this is great fan art of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, remembering they’ll be back in theaters on August 10th with a new family-friendly movie that looks pretty cool.
