It was already confirmed that HBO Max would be changing its name, to the streaming platform Max. But now we hear there are more changes coming to it after its merger with Discovery+, which will be one of the first we get wind of.
As of the 17th, WarnerBros will begin its new streaming platform, which will be called Max. This comes as no surprise, considering the name is set to be unveiled on the 7th. How Will Max Work?
As reported by Variety, the new streaming platform will include a mix of HBO original productions, CNN news content, and Discovery+ reality shows. So, according to this report, HBO won’t be disappearing from the platform, but it might be added as a particular sub-brand there instead. With regard to future pricing plans and adjustments, these questions have not yet been answered at the time of this publishing.
With HBO Max, which was launched earlier last year and came in third place among the streaming services preferred by Mexicans, it’s impossible to say for sure if this is due to its price and catalog. However, there is a possibility that it will keep its competitive edge in the national market going forward.
