Jujutsu Kaisen: Gege Akutami Confirms Manga Is in Final Stages | The Spaghetti Code

Date: July 15, 2024 Time: 04:27:36

The thing that was feared the most will finally gradually appear, and the author of Jujutsu Kaisen has just confirmed that the story in the manga is already in its final part, despite the fact that the denouement was expected to come in 2023.

While all fans of the series feel that the end is near, Gege Akutami stated in the Weekly Shonen Jump Q&A that the final battle in the Shinjuku Uninhabited Zone will be the final arc.

In this section, Akutami-sensei used some kanji to call it the final section, so it was more than clear that Jujutsu Kaisen did not have much time left until it was completely completed.

The manga is currently in the arc that started with the battle between Sukuna and Gojou and may be one of the ones that had the most impact among followers as the strongest sorcerer was harmed and there were only a few heroes left who could save the human society of the dreaded Curse King.

Although the author has announced a final arc, it is possible that there will be some additional chapters that will give it a great ending, but it is also possible that he already wants to finish it once and for all.

The Jujutsu Kaisen manga began serialization in March 2018 in Weekly Shonen Jump and currently has 262 chapters and a total of 27 collected volumes, with each update seeing the characters continue to give their all to put an end to one of the most feared villains within this world.

Are you hoping for a happy ending to Jujutsu Kaisen?
