Although the announcement of the end of the Jujutsu Kaisen manga surprised everyone and after time passed, the last chapters, a new project was revealed, which was probably not what they expected, since news about the third season is scarce.
This is a new format that the anime season 2 will be released in, and it will be with a compilation movie that will be released in 2025, and all this was confirmed through the social media of the franchise created by Gege Akutami.
Some of the details revealed are that the film will be a compilation of the events that took place in the Hidden Inventory/Premature Death arc, the four episodes that can be seen on Crunchyroll and which will be compiled for the big screen release.

There is currently no release date, it is only confirmed that we will see this movie at some point in 2025, and no other interesting details have been revealed, whether there will be improvements or additional scenes that were not in the second season of Jujutsu Kaisen, but they are not excluded.
It is possible that this project may appear before the premiere of the third season, so that the anime series is not forgotten during this time, as well as after the end of the manga, which will happen on September 30.
The Jujutsu Kaisen manga began publication in 2018 and currently has 228 collected volumes, and the story has inspired a two-season anime series, a film, and a video game. Meanwhile, the story has been a resounding success, with just over 55 million copies in print.
