It looks like one of the most exciting battles in the My Hero Academia manga is coming to an end, but there are more clashes between heroes and villains that need to be completed before the story comes to an end.
Warning: This note may contain spoilers for Chapter 390 of My Hero Academia, so we recommend that you read it at your own risk. Don’t say we didn’t warn you.
In the previous chapter of the manga, we could see the Todoroki family trying to stop Dabi’s explosion with his Ice Gift, but things didn’t go so well as Touya’s plan was to have his father watch him while Shoto showed up.
Now, in this new chapter of the manga called “Shoto Todoroki: Ascension”, we start with the fact that thanks to his friend Iida, he manages to get to the battlefield in time, but only up to a certain point. He thanks him and empowers himself with his “Phosphorus” ability, which allows him to reach transonic speeds.
We move on to Shoto’s flashback in which he shows the narration when he wrote letters to his mother and everything he did to improve and even refine the conversation as they generated a lot of conflict and problem solving themselves so he understands some of the feelings.
