The author of My Hero Academia has undoubtedly drawn some illustrations as idiosyncratic as the “Gifts” of his characters, and with the following cosplay done by Remy Domino (Tik Tok), we can remember the time he decided to dress up Deku in the same dress, as the heroine Mirko.
For a bit of context (and no pretext), Kouhei Horikoshi made a kind of illustration in which some of his characters are dressed exactly like Mirko to celebrate the arrival of the Year of the Rabbit. Below you can see three of our favorite My Hero Academia waifu in super bunny costumes and Deku himself dressed in Mirko’s costume.
It just so happens that this broccoli head with rabbit tail and legs inspired Remy Domino to do the same… cosplay within cosplay. We can see that this image of Deku in Mirko’s outfit shines exactly even in the characteristic pose in which the author of My Hero Academia drew Izuku.
Our protagonist is imbued from ear to toe with bunny abilities that gave him Rumi Usagiyama’s “Gift” of the animal.
What do you think of this cosplay of Deku as Mirko from My Hero Academia? To date, the animated adaptation of My Hero Academia has 134 episodes spread over six seasons, which you can watch on Crunchyroll both in the original language with subtitles and dubbed into various languages (including Latin Spanish).
