With the first images of chapter 395, fans of My Hero Academia began to remember a certain illustration with which the author began chapter 341 of the manga. Here it is:
Pictures say more than a thousand words, and while blood is a common resource in a character like Himiko Toga, there’s another element that has troubled villain fans ever since: Higanbana flowers, the so-called “flowers from hell,” have a cultural significance in Japan that is closely tied to death-related issues, especially the person they surround.
As if that wasn’t enough, the title of chapter 341 (“the story of how we all became heroes”) adds even more drama to what’s currently happening in the manga, as Toga just became the “heroine” of Uraraka… But at what cost?
