We had a dramatic episode in the sixth season of My Hero Academia, and to celebrate its premiere, the creator of the series has shared a new illustration featuring the “past” Lady Nagan in the title role.
Kouhei Horikoshi raised his pencils again to draw Lady Nagant, one of the most complex and interesting characters we’ve met on the show. This woman has become one of the most popular ex-heroines in Japan in the series, and whose reappearance has been one of the toughest encounters Izuku “Broccoli” Midoriya has faced.
Episode 21 of the sixth season (“Fair Lady Nagant”) showed the very tragic and dramatic side of this character, introducing her in her early years as a heroine under the orders of the Public Security Service. The ideals that Nagant had as a child were overshadowed when he learned about the nature of his work and the society he was trying to protect.
Her task to protect society from heroes who commit all kinds of deeds (including murder) led the “gunslinger woman” to betray these principles and ally with All for One, with whom she at least saw a more transparent world, despite such randomness. .
What do you think of this illustration of Lady Nagant’s past from her appearance in Season 6 of My Hero Academia? To date, the animated adaptation of My Hero Academia has 134 episodes spread over six seasons, which you can watch on Crunchyroll both in the original language with subtitles and dubbed into various languages (including Latin Spanish).
