Naruto reveals unprecedented details about Might Gai that would change everything for a shinobi.

Date: February 24, 2024 Time: 08:54:57

Might Guy is one of the most underrated characters in Naruto but in my opinion he is one of the best and also the strongest of them all as Madara Uchiha said. As of now in the Boruto series, Guy is going through life in a wheelchair due to an injury from which he may never be able to recover, which was caused precisely by the opening of eight doors during his fight with the Uchiha.

However, shortly after details about his origins were revealed, which could change everything for the shinobi as well as for the members of his team; Rock Lee, Tenten and Neji Hyuga. Well, it turns out that during an interview with Osamu Kobayashi, one of the directors of the series who passed away in 2021, he spoke about Naruto’s developmental story just when the original series had just ended, at which time Young Uzumaki creator Masashi Kishimoto said that the debut of Might Guy and his team in the anime would be different from the debut of the rest of the Leaf Village teams, as the so-called Team 11 had to travel from another village to Konoha to compete in the chunin exams.

So the characters would be from other places like Gaara, Kankurō and Temari, which in the case of Rock Lee and Tenten might not be such a problem, but in Neji’s case since the Hyuuga come from the Leaf Village. .

Also, Kakashi and Gai’s relationship would have been born in a different context, and we might not have had the opportunity to explore both the rivalry and friendship that exists between the two shinobi. Not to mention, Rock Lee and company may not have had the same level of fame and great moments on the show.

What do you think of this detail of Might Guy in Naruto? Would you like the shinobi and his team to be from another village?
