One of the most characteristic elements of the One Piece anime/manga are the Wanted posters, which offer a juicy reward for capturing pirates or other important figures of this world “dead or alive”.
Did you know that there are at least three parameters with which these rewards are set? A recent Shonen Jump question to Eiichiro Oda brought up this interesting theme that has accompanied the series for almost its entire existence.
We are well aware that “Wanted” posters are created and installed by the Naval Headquarters, they show a photograph (or drawing) of the person they are hunting, the amount of their reward in Berries, and the conditions for receiving said reward. with death or capture (“Dead or Alive”) pursued by the fleet.
Continuing here and according to former Admiral Aokiji and Officer Brannew, the Navy takes two points into account when determining how much the bounty on a character’s “Wanted” poster is worth.
