Oshi no Ko is a new story from the creator of Kaguya-sama: Love is War, with an anime adaptation already scheduled to premiere in Spring 2023. The anime also revealed a poster, a new production, and series details. this may come as a pleasant surprise.
The anime Oshi no Ko has revealed that it already has an April 12 release date. The series will air on Tokyo MX and other TV networks in Japan, but the anime will have a special preview in theaters on March 17 with a 90-minute run. It was also announced that OP Oshi no Ko will be the song “Idol” performed by YOASOBI, and the theme song for ED will be QUEEN BEE’s “Mephisto”. For its part, the anime cast will include Rie Takahashi as Ai Hoshino, Takeo Otsuka as Aqua, Yurie Igoma as Ruby, Kent Ito as Goro, and Tomoyo Takayanagi as Sarina. So far we have no news about the dubbed version.
Oshi no Ko follows the crazy story of Dr. Goro Hong, the main fan of the idol Ai Hoshino. One day, Goro dies unexpectedly, only to discover that he has been reborn as an idol’s newborn son. The manga was written by Aka Akasaka with illustrations by Mengo Yokari and published in Shueisha’s Weekly Young Jump.
