One of the most successful anime of the past year, Oshi no Ko continues to generate high expectations for its return as it confirmed its second season a few months ago and now fans have received more information about the series.
As part of the AnimeJapan 2024 exhibition held this weekend, the production team shared a brief teaser about the new season of the anime, but that’s not all, as the premiere date has been revealed, which will be July next year this year. .
What’s interesting about this trailer is that it shows some connection to the content of the second season of Oshi no Ko, as in the case of a play that will feature several of the anime’s main characters.
Some additional details include the inclusion of new cast members such as Yusuke Kobayash, who will play Sakuya; Kouki Uchiyama will be Taiki, and Meruto Narushima will be Seiji Maeda.
On the other hand, it was reported that more information about this new season will be revealed on April 12, the day that marks the first anniversary of the anime Oshi no Ko. Perhaps the exact premiere date of this long-awaited series will even become known.

The anime is based on the manga written by Aka Akasaka and illustrated by Mengo Yokoyari, and inspired an 11-episode adaptation that aired from April to June 2023. This first season is available on the HIDIVE platform.
A few months ago, the franchise announced that, given the popularity of Oshi no Ko, a live-action adaptation would premiere on Amazon Prime Video worldwide in winter 2024, along with a feature film that would also be released before the end of this year.
