Now that Ash and Pikachu are no longer the main protagonists of Pokémon, fans are eager to learn more about the characters who will take command of the new animated series…and apparently one of them has Pikachu also being the star Pokémon.
What? We mean, the next Pokémon anime continues to feature new visuals for its main characters, and it turns out the Riko and Roy pairing won’t be the only trainers we’ll be following in this new adventure. Here below you have the first images of Friede and his inseparable “Captain Pikachu”, the trainer-Pokemon duo who will also be stealing cameras in the next Pokemon animated series.
We could consider Pikachu the ambassador of the entire Pokémon franchise, so there’s no way this iconic character could be left out of this adaptation. Both Frieda and Pikachu seem to be full of confidence, so he is likely to be the “voice of confidence” in the new group.
Will you see the premiere of the new Pokémon anime? On the other hand, Pokémon Journeys: The Series premiered on Tokyo TV and other affiliates in Japan under the title Pocket Monster in November 2019, followed by Pokémon: Aim To Be a Pokémon Master, an eleven-episode special that began airing. January 13th in Japan and introduces Ash Ketchum and Pikachu’s latest adventure as the franchise’s protagonists.
The new Pokémon anime will begin on April 14, and the official title that will be given to the new season of the franchise has yet to be confirmed.
