The 90s decade of anime series had a lot to talk about, and Ranma 1/2 was one of them, especially because of the story. A boy who could turn into a girl when bathing in cold water, but this was not his only problem, or at least he had to go through many situations before the anime.
The animated adaptation came directly from the manga story created by Rumiko Takahashi, but the series became so popular that it even crossed borders and was broadcast in the United States, Spain and Latin America, but from one point to another there were no more episodes. new.
The anime Ranma 1/2 never ended
The author was talking about this situation because she continued to work on the manga from 1987 to 1992, and the anime began airing in 1989, so she adapted many episodes until she got to the original work, which happens with many of the stories.
This meant that there was no more material to continue the animation and although they could have resorted to the famous filler to give the author time to squeeze more out of the story without slowing down the project, in the case of this work, they decided to go against it, which is why there was a complete break in the anime.
But that’s not all, since the problem became more complicated, Rumiko Takahashi did not have a ready-made ending for Ranma 1/2 within the manga and it seems that the producer at that time did not want to wait, since the series even competed with others such as: Dragon Ball, Knights Zodiac and others.
The lack of a concrete answer and perhaps the ending of Ranma 1/2 put pressure on Takahashi-san, the production company decided to cancel the broadcast of the anime and thus leave the series without a concrete ending, but all was not lost. Well, years later the mangaka will give us the final completion of his famous work.
