Bungo’s animated adaptation of Stray Dogs has confirmed that the fifth season will premiere in mid-2023 with a beautiful new poster. The series will return to Japanese TV and streaming services this summer, so be sure to check out the new production details.
The anime released a poster for the fifth season, made by Nobuhiro Arai, the episode’s director and character designer for the adaptation. Also, a new graphic confirms that Bungo Stray Dogs will be back in July 2023 with their fifth installment, so be sure to take some time off your summer vacation to take a look at this highly anticipated series. Bungo Stray Dogs is a manga written by Kafka Asagiri and illustrated by Sango Harukawa about a group of private investigators who belong to the Armed Detective Agency. Members have superhuman powers and are known to be named after important literary figures in Japan and other countries. For its part, an anime adaptation began airing in 2016 under production by Studio Bones. The second and third seasons premiered in 2016 and 2018 respectively, while the fourth premiered in 2023 between January and March. Finally, in 2017, an anime movie was released.
The series has been published in Kadowaka’s Young Ace since December 2012, and to date it has 23 compiled volumes. Several light novels inspired by the series have also been published.
