Spy x Family has not become one of the anime and manga sensations of the moment for nothing, as the series is already starting to win important awards such as the Osamu Tezuka Cultural Award. Such a medal is awarded annually for an outstanding work of manga, for example, for such series as “Monster” by Naoki Usasawa and “Vagabond” by Takehiko Inoue.
The nominees for the Osamu Tezuka Cultural Prize were announced this Monday, although the winners will be announced before April. In the meantime, you can check out the list of possible Grand Prix winners:
It should be noted that The Spy Family received the most nominations from the jury, making it this year’s top favorite to receive important recognition. The winners will be announced at the end of April and the awards ceremony will take place on June 8th.
Spy x Family may be returning to our screens this fall season of 2023, so we’re almost halfway through the premiere of this second installment that will bring back Operation Strix. A movie inspired by the series is also slated for release this year, though no release date has been announced yet. The tape may give us a pleasant surprise, as it will contain the original story of Tatsuya Endo, which will open new horizons for the Forger family.
