Pokémon has become a topic of conversation this week due to the many revelations the franchise has made regarding its video games in conjunction with Pokémon Day this week. And while anime has taken a backseat these days, we didn’t want to lose sight of this adorable fan art that portrays Team Rocket as a whole happy family.
The Pokémon anime made a lot of headlines last year with the announcement that Ash Ketchum would finally be leaving the series. At the moment, the boy from Pallet Town is going through his latest adventure with Pikachu, Misty and Brock; However, it remains a mystery how the fate of this character and all those who accompanied him on the way, both friends and rivals, will develop. That is, they will eventually grow up and lead a different lifestyle? We don’t know yet, but at least one fan has illustrated what a good ending could be for our beloved members of Team Rocket.
As you can see, the adorable fan art shared by @ryuichizzz via Twitter depicts Jessie and James as the mom and dad of a little girl who combines the hair color of both characters, and also reminds us a bit of Anya Forger from Spy x Familia. We see that Meowth is also still part of the family, and that this little girl also has various references to Team Rocket, such as having what appears to be the face of Wobbuffet on the sole of her shoes, as well as a Pikachu hoodie that is for Throughout for many years this was the main headache of Ash’s rivals.
No doubt this fan art makes us wonder what the future could be for Jessie and James who have spent so much time together, though of course some fans can always see them as more inseparable friends than a couple, in addition to being that it is believed that James is an LGBT character, but nonetheless.
