The Critics Choice Awards shared nominations for its 8th annual awards show and that meant we had the opportunity to see which series was most chosen for each category. This is a great opportunity for fans of these TV shows or people who are looking for some online content to watch!
Among the different outstanding awards that relate to film and television, you can’t miss out on the Critics Choice Awards – it’s an award granted by the Broadcast Film Critics Association in recognition of excellence in cinematographic achievements, and this year the critics have chosen three TV shows which have definitely caught your attention; Better Call Saul Season 6, House of the Dragon, and Abbott Elementary.
Here are the five nominations for award season: Outstanding Drama Series, Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series for Bob Odenkirk, Outstanding Supporting Actress for Rhea Seehorn and Carol Burnett, and Best Supporting Actor for Giancarlo Esposito.
According to Vulture, there are a total of three nominations for the Game of Thrones television series. The nominations include Best Drama Series, for which Milly Alcock (age 12) gets nominated for young Princess Rhenyra Targaryen, and finally Matt Simth’s nomination for Daemon Targaryen in the category of Best Supporting Actor.
This is the most striking series of nominations for Abbott Elementary across the 2023 Critics Choice Awards. The ABC sitcom competes in the categories of Outstanding Comedy Series, Outstanding Actress in a Comedy Series, Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series, and Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series.
Still, even though the new Star Wars film didn’t make it into the actual Best Drama Series category, it put up a terrific performance in our runner-up spot. Diego Luna was also up for Best Actor in a Drama Series against Bob Odenkirk for Better Call Saul and Antony Starr for The Boys.
