Toyotaro gives life to Kule, Frieza’s brother, in an epic Dragon Ball illustration

Toyotaro has revived a forgotten character from Dragon Ball Z with his new epic artwork as the mangaka decided to bring Frieza’s brother Kulu back to life. Perhaps this character is not remembered by all fans, although it must be said that he has one of the coolest designs among the villains of Akira Toriyama’s veteran series.

And if you’re one of those who doesn’t remember Kulu, don’t worry, it might not be your fault. What happens is that the character does not appear in the Dragon Ball Z anime, but in films inspired by the series. Specifically, we mean Dragon Ball Z: Incredibly Powerful vs. Most Powerful (1991) and Dragon Ball Z: Clash! Warriors with Ten Billion Strength (1992). In this new drawing, Toyotaro has brought to life the final shape of the Coola, which looks like this:

Did you like this new Dragon Ball Super mangaka drawing? This monthly series gives us a new drawing of Toyotaro randomly choosing a Dragon Ball character. The selection includes a long list of franchise characters from Toriyama’s original manga, so we can be sure there’s still time for these great illustrations.

Meanwhile, Dragon Ball is about to celebrate its four decades of existence, and as part of the celebration, dozens of manga artists are drawing their own interpretation of the Saiyan warrior series. This time it was the turn of the author of The Promised Neverland, who recreated the cover of the 22nd volume of Akira Toriyama’s original manga.
