The ninth part of Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure just started publishing, and while we’re barely getting started on Jojo Lands, the new members of the Joestar line have already more than intrigued us to find out what’s in store for them in this new chapter of Hirohiko Araki’s story. . That’s why this time we’re going to tell you everything you need to know about Dragon Joestar.
Dragona Joestar is Jodio’s older sister and an accomplice in crime, doing many of the errands they run for the Hawaiian mob. Dragona is an 18-year-old girl of ambiguous gender, as although she refers to herself by the Japanese feminine pronoun in the first person (“atashi”), Jodio continues to refer to her as “big brother” (“nii-san”). Despite this, she has a close relationship with him, albeit a less violent one.
True to her name, Dragona has several dragon tattoos on her body, most notably on her shoulders and left thigh. In addition, its rambunctious look is complemented by a large “D” necklace dangling from its neck, which of course also takes the form of the terrifying mythological creatures that give it its name.
The Joestar Dragon has a stand known as the Smooth Operators in Jojo Lands. This is a small colony of Stands that move like battle tanks and have the ability to move any object, even if it was supposed to be fixed there. This ability has been shown to be very useful for Dragona and her brother, such as in his first mission for the mafia, in which he used it to replace his photo on his driver’s license and thus obtain a fake ID.
