After the inspection was completed, a criminal case was opened against the founder of the Krasava football club, Evgeniy Savin, for discrediting the Russian military.
“In an interview with Sobchak, the former footballer spoke negatively about the Russian army and condemned its actions. A criminal case has been initiated under article 280.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation,” RIA Novosti quotes the source.
Let us remember that in April 2023, the former footballer gave an interview to journalist Ksenia Sobchak, in which he allowed himself unnecessary statements about the Russian army. Two months earlier he had already been charged under the same article and punished with a fine of 50,000 rubles. For repeat offenses he faces up to 5 years.
Evgeny Savin left Russia immediately after the start of the Northern Military District. He currently lives in Cyprus.
